Website privacy notice
This notice explains how BDH Electrical handles information collected through this website and enquiries made using its contact options.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Who is responsible?
BDH Electrical (BDH Electricals Ltd), based in Cardiff, is responsible for this information. For privacy questions, email bhartland90@outlook.com or call 07379 768292.
What we collect
The enquiry form collects your name, telephone number, selected service and any email address, town or postcode, property type, urgency and job details you provide. We also receive information you send directly by email or WhatsApp, including photos you choose to share.
Our hosting and form providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the website and filter spam. Please only send information relevant to your enquiry. Without sufficient contact details, we cannot reply.
Why we use it
- Estimates and requested work: to answer your request and take steps towards, or carry out, a contract with you.
- General and business enquiries: our legitimate interests in responding to messages and managing customer relationships.
- Website security and spam prevention: our legitimate interests in keeping our contact service reliable.
- Required records: to meet applicable legal obligations where an enquiry leads to work.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Who processes the information?
Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions. Its spam filtering uses Akismet. Microsoft Outlook handles enquiry emails and form notifications. Providers and their service partners may process information outside the UK, including in the United States.
Netlify describes its transfer arrangements, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and contractual safeguards where applicable, in its Data Processing Agreement (PDF). See also Netlify’s privacy statement and Microsoft’s privacy statement. If you choose WhatsApp, its own privacy terms also apply.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and related job records while needed to respond, provide requested work, resolve issues and meet record-keeping or legal requirements. Records are then deleted or anonymised. The appropriate period depends on whether an enquiry leads to work and any outstanding obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Following links to external services, including WhatsApp, takes you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices.

Right to object: you can object to our use of your information for purposes based on legitimate interests.
